If you've ever been to Phuket, you'll know that finding the right hotel can make or break your trip. For us, Deevana Patong Resort & Spa is one of those places we keep coming back to, and for good reason.
The first thing that stands out is the atmosphere. Even though you're close to all the action in Patong, the hotel feels surprisingly peaceful. There are two beautiful swimming pools, which means you can always find a spot to relax, whether you want to soak up the sun or cool off after a day of exploring.
The service is another reason we love staying here. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and happy to help. It gives the hotel that warm, holiday feeling from the moment you arrive.
Now let's talk about the food. Honestly, the food here is fantastic. Breakfast is always something we look forward to, and we've never been disappointed by the meals we've had during our stays. Everything is fresh, full of flavour and well prepared.
The rooms are also a highlight. They're spacious, comfortable and have everything you need after a busy day in Phuket. It's the kind of room where you can actually relax and enjoy spending time, rather than just using it as a place to sleep.
One thing to mention is that Deevana Patong isn't the cheapest hotel in Phuket, but when you compare it to what you'd pay for a similar experience in South Africa, it's still incredible value for money. You get great facilities, excellent service and a beautiful resort atmosphere without completely blowing your travel budget.
And if you're in the mood to spoil yourself, you can even grab a massage right at the hotel. After a long day of sightseeing, island hopping or shopping, it's the perfect way to unwind.
Overall, Deevana Patong remains one of our favourite hotels in Phuket. Great food, lovely pools, comfortable rooms and friendly service. It's one of those places that keeps you wanting to come back.
